How to find and fill in Eyeglasses Prescription Correctly?

What Information Do You Need to Purchase Our Prescription Glasses?

There are four common situations:

1. You don’t have OD/OS ADD values (as shown in the red box in the sample prescription below):
Please select our Single Vision lenses and fill in the following data: SPH / CYL / AXIS / PD

Important: Be sure to enter the correct sign (±) for each value.

2. You have OD/OS ADD values and want to purchase Progressive Glasses (for near, intermediate, and distance vision in one lens):
Please select our Progressive lenses and provide the following data:SPH / CYL / AXIS / ADD / PD

Important: Be sure to enter the correct sign (±) for each value.

3. You have OD/OS ADD values but only need glasses for reading:
Please select our Single Vision lenses and fill in:SPH / CYL / AXIS / PD

Note: If your OS SPH is +0.50 and your OS ADD is +2.50, your final OS SPH value for reading glasses should be +2.50 (+0.50 + 2.50).

!!!But if your OS SPH is -0.50 and your OS ADD is +2.50, your final OS SPH value for reading glasses should be +2.00 (-0.50 + 2.50).

4. You have both near and distance vision data, but no ADD values are provided in your prescription and you also don't remember specific ADD data:
